Jeff Riffle

Born in Baltimore, I was raised in sunny South Florida. I worked as a police officer for 30 years and then retired to the mountains of Western Carolina with my family. Although I always enjoyed the arts, it was not until I retired that my wife persuaded me to tap into my true interests and talent. I selected oil as my favorite medium for my first selection of paintings. When the brush meets the canvas, it feels natural to me and expresses a form with color and strokes that I hope is as pleasing to the viewer as it is to the artist.
