Studied Elementary Education and Studio Art at Indiana University in Bloomington. My passion for art started in grade school and heightened in High School because of my art teacher. I practically lived in the art building during undergrad and have not stopped painting since. I am currently the Head Editor of a website which has allowed me the flexibility to move around the country. I've lived in Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and currently reside in Los Angeles. Each city provides new and exciting creative awakenings and motivation. During my stint in Nashville, TN, I rented a studio space where I created this particular line of work. It is a detailed line of mixed media paintings. Each piece has pen & ink elements with watercolor paint on cold press paper. This combination was attached to the canvas and surrounded by patterns of oil paint. I applied each small circle of vibrantly colorful oil paint with a very small brush which allowed the white canvas to pop through.
