After a long stint called "real life," Brenda is rediscovering her creativity with a boost from Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way." She is still writing Morning Pages, and taking her Artist Dates. She is a new member of the Appalachian Pastel Society and American Women Artists, and looks forward to testing the waters in exhibition soon. Brenda looks forward to building a supportive peer network and refining her skills. After ignoring her abilities for so long, she finds they are pushing forth with a vengeance. Her pastel Purple Rain at Lyndon House kept her from sleeping one night, until she arose and created it.
