I’m Mayra Loeber and my art expresses strong Faith, my heritage and a love of life, color and creation!
Born in Cuba and raised in the United States, I have always been exposed to rich heritage and strong culture. I have a driving passion for using my hands and a very active imagination. I have always embraced my creativity by creating everything from textiles, to clay and then some! You name it, and I have explored it.
Two years ago I was faced with unforeseen health issues, and eventually turned back to my creative self-expression as an escape while looking for peace of mind. Now I can honestly say the expression “God works in mysterious ways” has new meaning for me!
I was introduced to acrylics, oils, watercolors & pastels, and the rest is history. I have taken some lessons – but my Faith and imagination are what keep me motivated. Colors breathe life for me and I enjoy exploring the countless possibilities before me. The opportunities for expression are endless, and pursing that passion makes life simply exhilarating!
