Wendell Tudor

Wendell Tudor was born and raised in Nova Scotia and discovered photography as a young man after moving to Miami, Florida. His photographic education began in the darkroom, creating black and white as well as color images. His love of the coastline of Eastern Canada compels him to photograph landscapes and seascapes. He resides in Stone Mountain, Georgia, but returns to Canada to photograph the places he remembers and loves from his youth. He is drawn there much as a salmon returns to its birthplace to spawn: that is where he must go.

"Any photographic image, while it may have great appeal to one person, may not have to another. Thus, all an artist can hope to do is capture what he feels through the lens. The works that you see here are my artistic expression and interpretation. It is the ultimate compliment when others appreciate what I love to do."
